The Turkish product and interior professional Defne Koz lives and works between Milan and Chicago. Her help VitrA has brought the ancestry of Turkish ceramic floor tiles into the 21st century. Encouraged by the traditional themes and colors of Turkish ceramic tile layouts, she established a highly stylized version of these patterns for a variety called İznik, after the Turkish city that was the facility for the faïence pottery-making industry in the 17th century. The 4D ceramic tile, which flawlessly demonstrates VitrA's goal of discovering motivation in the past, acquired the firm a Red Dot Design Award in 2006.Circus Ceiling/Wall LightA brilliant yet straightforward layout for any contemporary room. This collection gained the Excellent Style Award in 2002.4D Tiles CollectionThe 4D tile collection has an abundance of patterns and styles which offer practically limitless opportunities for the development of people mixes. One-of-a-kind materials and unique manufacturing methods are used to generate the floor tiles. The overall perception is of blurred textures, colours and geometric patterns that bring a sensation of depth and motion and almost develop a fourth dimension.
