Catharina Lorenz born in Munich, Germany From 1986-91 she studied Industrial Design at the Fachhochschule Darmstadt, where she graduated in January 1991 with a Diploma in Industrial Design. In the same year she began to work for Hollington Associates in London. In 1993, back once again in Germany she helps Tinz. DCC and Via 4 Design. In 1995 she starts working with Sottsass Associati in Milan, where she stays up until autum 1999. Begining of the year 2000 she opens her own center in Milan.2001 she establishes the design center Lorenz \* Kaz together with Steffen Kaz in Milan. They help customers like Antonio Lupi, Bedont, Colé, DePadova, DuPont, General Motors-Cadillac, Omnidecor, Rossin, Sitap, Zeitraum. Aside from helping various other customers, they released their own furnishings line, which they market and generate under the tag Lorenz \* Kaz. Given that 2007 they are Art Director of RossinSteffen Kaz birthed in Stuttgart, Germany From 1990-1994 he studied Industrial Design at the Accademy of Fine art in Hamburg, continued at the Royal College of Fine art in London, where he completed his research studies in August 1996 with a Master Degree in Furniture. Couple of months later he moves to New york, helping a Media Firm and numerous other Design Studios. Back in Europe in 1998, he starts helping James Irvine in Milan, where he remains up until fall 2001. 2001 he establishes the design center Lorenz \* Kaz along with Catharina Lorenz in Milan, working for customers like Antonio Lupi, Bedont, Colé, DePadova, DuPont, Omnidecor, Rossin, Sitap, Zeitraum. Other than working for various other customers, they launched their very own furnishings line, which they offer and generate under the tag Lorenz \* Kaz. He is Professor at the College of Bolzano, training at the Faculty of Fine art and Design. Given that 2007 they are Art Director of RossinCocoCoco draws with its nevertheless modern-day but classic lines. Tonic Metal owes its iconographic and solid character to its vibrant side line. A large range of upholstery alternatives, one color or multi-coloured plus the option between wood or metal base, allow a large range of creations from young and fresh to elegant and linear ones.
