Looking For Popular Spanish Indoor Space Designs – Try Out Antoni Arola Products

 

Antoni Arola is a well known name in the arts and design world. He is the most accomplished and outstanding Spanish designer when it comes to designing lamps and perfume bottles. Antoni Arola is known for his versatility and designing brilliance that helps him to make even a dull looking space into one of the most attractive looking indoor space in the entire area or home or office.  

Antoni was born in Tarragona in 1960 in Spain. He was a quick learner and had an interest for arts and creative designing right from his school days. He was able to study what he desired and graduated from the Eina School in Barcelona in 1984. He immediately started to work in very popular professional studios in Barcelona and Spain. He worked for five years continuously at the Lievore and Pensi studio. He strived hard for another four years at the Associate Designers, AD, which was one of the very popular and leading design companies in Spain for technological design. He was able to learn a lot from this design studio. He was under the guidance of Ramon Bigas and Pep Sant there. His working with such big intellectuals in the designing field and his work experience of over 10 years in different companies offered him the pillar of support to dare to set up his own studio in 1994 known as the Estudi Arola.  

Antoni Arola had a special liking towards light designing and his first major breakthrough came in the year 1994 when he designed a series of lamps under his studio’s name. The lamps that he designed were a big hit among consumers and he soon became a household name in Spain. He has also designed the Nimba lamp in 1997 for the Santa & Cole Company and this design got him the ADI-FAD award. He has also taken a special liking for designing furniture and some of his popular furniture works include: Fresh Ofita, Lotta Kendo table, Alto and Volta furniture, tray Kendo, Turca sofa collection, Fontana waste bin, Plat and tray center tables for Kendo, executive office furniture for Veta / Karan and coffee tables for Kendo.  

Some of the latest works done by Antoni Arola are: the interior design of the chocolate shops Cacao Sampaka, the packaging of the Armand Basi Frangancies, the Pallucco lamp, the Ishi-Doro series of lamps for Metalarte, the Sistema Flúor hanging system of colored fluorescents for Santa & Cole, Moaré Series for Santa & Cole and the interior design of the gourmet shop Mos. Antoni’s work has been shown and exhibited in almost all the popular places of the world as individual and collective exhibitions. Some of the places where his exhibitions are in great demand are: New York, Tokyo, Madrid, Mexico, Milan, Barcelona, London and other popular cities. Antoni Arola has received a lot of prestigious awarded right throughout his arts and design career. Some of the popular awards include: I-plus Award for best lighting in 2009, the National Design Prize in 2003 and two Silver Delta Design Awards.
