Barba Corsini (1916-2008) & Joaquim Ruiz Millet (1955 -) developed the Pedrera lamps, which are both timeless and contemporary. Several of the lights were developed by Barba Corsini, others in association with or by his protegé, Joaquim Ruiz Millet.Barba Corsini (1916-2008) was a leading functionalist architect that won global appreciation for his architecture and his layout for Los angeles Pedrera. 'Powerful simplicity' is probably a proper description of Corsini's individual design style, as stood for by the Pedrera collection.Joaquim Ruiz Millet (1955 -) made Galeria H20 in Barcelona in 1989, where he furthered his tasks as gallery proprietor, cultural agitator, manager of events, and editor of publications and style objects.
