The Kanso Japandi Wall Light
brings together layered architectural form and warm ambient illumination in a compact sculptural wall fitting inspired by contemporary Japanese and Japandi interiors.
A series of precisely stacked horizontal fins forms the distinctive geometric shade, gently screening the light while allowing a warm glow to escape between each layer. Additional illumination is projected above and below the fitting, creating a soft wash of light across the surrounding wall.
The result is an understated Japanese-inspired wall light that provides atmosphere without overwhelming the interior.

Styling Inspiration
For a Japandi bedroom, install a Kanso wall light on either side of an upholstered or timber headboard. The layered shade creates softer and more relaxing illumination than a conventional exposed wall lamp.
In a staircase or hallway, repeat multiple fittings at regular intervals to emphasise the architectural lines of the space.
Kanso also works particularly well against limewash, microcement, textured plaster, travertine and warm neutral walls, where the light escaping between the horizontal fins creates subtle layers of shadow and texture.
